Pilot: John Stanhope

I trained with John Moran and received my pilot licence in 2006. My wife Jennifer is my crew chief. We enjoy ballooning and normally fly a balloon named FunShine.  My most memorable fight is a training flight that I had with Steve L. and my crew got lost and did not find us until after dark and we had the balloon all packed away.

I am 19.  started flying when i was 14 with my student license, got my private license at 16, and commercial at 18.  both of my parents are commercial pilots.  i recived my hot air balloon repairman’s license also at the age of 18. i am currently attending Pittsburgh inst. of aeronautics for airframe and power plant mechanics for airplanes.
